The City offers a variety of utilities-related scholarships for individuals and businesses.

High School Trade Scholarship

Our community needs more skilled workers in the building trades. Fort Collins is growing, and we want our homes, schools, and workplaces to be cleaner, healthier, and more energy‑efficient. To reach these goals, we need trained workers who care about quality work and who want to help build a better future. This scholarship supports students who plan to attend trade school and enter the building industry by awarding them $1,000 to help pay for this schooling. By helping you, we are also helping build the future workforce of Fort Collins. This work supports the City Council’s priorities to make sure all residents live in safe, healthy, and efficient buildings. When you choose a trade career, you are choosing a path that strengthens your community.
